Daniela H. Fisher

Daniela Fisher has extensive experience in environmental and regulatory matters, including contaminated sites, permitting and compliance, air contaminant and odour management issues, waste management (including recycling and composting) and environmental assessment.

Ms. Fisher was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2004 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association environmental law and administrative law sections, as well as a former legislative liaison and former member at large of the environmental law section (BC Branch). Ms. Fisher has authored and presented “Water Quality Offences”, has authored and presented, with Ms. Akelaitis, “Provincial Environmental Law, Regulations and Policy”, and has authored, with Mr. Letcher, “Turning Back Climate Change: Observations on the Plan“.

Ms. Fisher is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Northern British Columbia, where she teaches courses in environmental law and environmental assessment law. She is also a director of the Prince George Air Improvement Roundtable (PGAIR), which brings together multiple government, industry and non-government organizations to provide recommendations and implement initiatives for local air quality management.
